We refuse to use piercing guns. Instead, we use single-use, industry-specific, sterilised needles. This method is sterile, far gentler on the tissue, and drastically reduces healing time compared to the blunt force trauma of a spring-loaded gun.

To make the experience as quick and seamless as possible, we offer Tandem Piercing appointments by request. Two expert piercers work simultaneously, piercing both ears at the exact same moment. This means the process is over in a second, removing the anticipation of the "second side."

Please Note: Our studio is an intimate space designed for focus. To maintain a calm, distraction-free environment for the child being pierced, we ask that siblings and friends do not attend the appointment.

Why We Use Flatbacks: We strictly use implant-grade titanium labrets with flat backs. Unlike traditional "butterfly backs," these are hypoallergenic, easier to keep clean, and—crucially—they don't poke the neck while sleeping. The most simple option (included in the base pricing) has a plain titanium ball at the front which is available in an array of colours or can be switched out for an of the jewellery in our collection at an added cost.

We have a minimum age policy of 5 years old for earlobe piercings. Beyond age, we require that the child fully understands the process and—most importantly—wants the piercing for themselves.

We view this as an exercise in bodily autonomy. If a child appears distressed, uncertain, or withdraws consent on the day, we will not proceed. We are here to create positive experiences, never traumatic ones.

We adhere strictly to state laws regarding the piercing of minors. To proceed, we must see copies of the following documents on the day. Without these, we legally cannot perform the piercing.

1. Parent/Guardian ID: A current Driver’s License or Passport.
2. Child's ID: Birth Certificate or Passport.
3. Proof of Relationship: Any document that would reasonably prove the parenthood or guardianship. In the case where a Birth Certificate is used for ID, This is sufficient for parents.
